Acrylic Thickness
3mm
Affordable and lightweight. Ideal for small signs and indoor use. Large signs in this thickness need to be secured to hanging signage frames if used outside otherwise they may topple over.
4.5mm
More expensive but ideal for larger signs & outdoor use as they are heavy weight and sturdy so are less likely to topple over.
Printing Options
Vinyl Lettering
Letters are cut out from coloured vinyl and stuck on to the acrylic sign. The end result will have a single background colour which is the colour of acrylic chosen and the text will be a single colour made of vinyl lettering.
Individual letters can be removed so you can reuse the acrylic sign but it's a tedious process to peel off each indivdiual letter.
Digital Printing
Text colours and background can be fully customised, giving you the option to print in different colours, add illustrations etc. like the photo displayed. The end result is similar to printing on any foam board but is much sturdier as you are applying the printed material on to acrylic.
You can easily peel off the printed sheet. You'll then be left with a clean white acrylic sheet which you can sell or reuse.
3D Lettering
Letters are cut out of acrylic and glued on to acrylic sheets. The end result is a 3D lettering effect which costs extra but is much more striking and luxurious. This option is only available for headings and large letters/numbers.
These letters are perminently glued down and cannot be removed.
